This video of slowed-down Jordan jams over superscrewed ‘Slow Jamz’ actually made me a little misty. When you see MJ take off from the foul line, the sea change from the 80’s Celtics/Lakers era is complete. Who is Jordan’s hip-hop analogue? As influential as Pac or Big but still living and with a questionable late-career return to the game. Maybe if Hova comes back without his fire (he does wear open-toes after all..) we’d have a match.
